Back in college I downloaded a software called WinOuija which was essentially a digital Ouija board that you used on your Windows computer. The screen looked like your typical ouija board and you and your friends gathered and put your fingers on your mouse instead of the normal pointer. And as the mouse rolled over a letter it would appear on a digital display (keeping track of what letters had been visited).

Of course I thought it would never work but it did! My college friends and I communicated with a spirit who identified himself as "Kyle." Of course we thought it was a joke because one of the girls with her fingers on the mouse had a boyfriend named Kyle at the time but she swore she wasn't moving it. (And I wasn't.) Kyle suggested that he was a little boy - about 7 to 10 years old. We only used the program a couple of times before getting too freaked out to try it again. There was this one specific thing that Kyle always did. (Read on.)

A couple of years later I tried the software again with a new couple of friends (same computer) who I had told about "Kyle" but who I never told about what Kyle's signature move was. And he did it again - every time Kyle communicated with us the mouse would slide off the desk. Being a mouse with a cable attached it would just dangle there before we picked it back up and put it on the mouse pad but then we'd put our fingers on and it would slide right back off the desk! The new girls never knew about that so it wasn't a joke and I wasn't doing it.

After that I just came to believe that Kyle posessed my computer. (I no longer have it.) (But I've also never re-tried the software which I do still have in a backup drive somewhere.)

We've only used a ouija board once. Nothing happened at all during the sceance but the moment it was over something weird happened. The video of it is on our Mypace page http://www.myspace.com/northernsightings

We've been advised not to use Ouija boards anymore and have heeded that advice ever since. Most people tend to believe that they are dangerous but I don't know if I'm convinced. I hear lots of stories but see no proof as to this theory.

We just won't use them anymore because they offer no tangible proof to anyone. The fakeability aspect is too easy eith these things.

Anyways, that's my 2 cents.

I think Ouja boards are dangerous....My first experience with one was back in 1989..after the death of my 3month old son a friend of mine brought me over to one of her friends house,before we went in she said "do you want to talk to scott?"(my son) I looked at her funny and when I stepped in the house I saw the Ouja board I was "hit" with a full body chill and quickly left,the next time was years later (2003) it wasnt so much me but my oldest son,he was 12 yrs old,he had been at a friends house after school,he called me sounding "freaked" Shocked

I quickly got in my car,I got halfway to his friends house and my son was running at a breakneck speed,his eyes were HUGE!,when he jumped in the car I asked him what was wrong?,he went on to tell me his friend had a uoja board and they used it...things started to happen,a lamp that hung from the ceiling began to sway side to side,and a gust of wind blew through the room and the bedroom door and bathroom door kept slamming,it was at this point my son called me,I told him not to mess with ouja boards,that you could be opening a door to something dangerous.
